Where are your workshops conducted?
Our regular Craft Atelier workshops are conducted at our instructor’s residential apartment located near Kovan MRT station. Exact details of the workshop venue are provided upon registration.
For customised workshops, we will work with the organisers to identify a venue suitable for the nature of the workshop, as well as the number of participants.
What is the minimum and maximum number of participants at your regular workshops?
We require a minimum of two participants to confirm a workshop session.
To ensure that all participants are able to receive an adequate amount of assistance and guidance from our instructors, a maximum of five participants is scheduled for each workshop session.
How do I register for a workshop?
To register for our workshops, simply send us your details using the Contact Us form located on this website. A S$10 deposit will be collected upon registration.
Please note that Craft Atelier requries a minimum of two participants to confirm a workshop. To ensure that our workshops can proceed as planned, we will strongly encourage you to sign up with a friend! A special Bring-A-Friend discount is available.
How do I pay for my workshop?
A S$10 deposit will be collected upon registration. Payment must be made via bank transfer or through Paypal. Further details are provided when we acknowledge your registration details.
The balance will be collected in cash after the workshop. Please bring along the exact amount to facilitate collection.
Can I withdraw from a workshop after registration?
If you need to withdraw from a workshop, please contact us immediately.
Should you withdraw from a workshop at least 72 hours in advance (you must receive acknowledgement of your withdrawal), your deposit would be converted into Craft Atelier credits. These credits can be redeemed against subsequent workshop fees or product purchases.
Should you withdraw from a workshop within 72 hours of the workshop (you must receive acknowledgement of your withdrawal), your deposit would be made forfeit. However, you are entitled to any materials/class kit prepared for the workshop, if one is available. This is subject to delivery charges.
When would I know if my workshop is confirmed? What happens to my deposit if the workshop is cancelled?
You will receive an email confirming the workshop session at least 2 working days before the workshop.
Should Craft Atelier cancel a workshop, or a workshop is unable to begin due to poor sign-up, you would be entitled to a refund, either in cash or in Craft Atelier credits. Cash refunds are issued via bank transfers while Craft Atelier credits can be redeemed against subsequent workshop fees or product purchases.
Are there any discounts for workshop fees?
Yes. Craft Atelier offers a Bring-A-Friend discount for workshops. Sign up for any workshop with a friend or friends, and you will each enjoy S$5 off your workshop fees. All you need to do is to indicate who you are attending the workshop with during registration. Please note that the discount is given at the final collection of fees after the workshop.
Occasionally, Craft Atelier will launch workshops with special discounts. Do sign up for our mailing list to receive regular updates.
Can I purchase items from your online store during a workshop?
Certainly! If you have a shopping list in mind, please inform us early so that we can set aside the items for you. Our instructors will be able to provide product demonstration and explanation after the workshop.
What if I am interested in your classes, but are unable to make it on the scheduled days?
Depending on the nature of the workshop, different options are available.
For workshops like Basics of Rubber Stamping, these are conducted on a regualr basis so do check against our workshop schedule for details on the next session. You can also sign up for our mailing list to receive regular updates. Alternatively, if you are able to form a minimum group of 4 participants, we will be able to schedule a separate session at a date of your convenience. The workshop venue, fees and materials will remain the same.
For special workshops like 2009 Christmas Card making, the number of runs are limited. However, if you are able to form a minimum group of three participants, we will be able to arrange for a separate session for you. While the workshop venue will remain the same, materials and fees are subject to change, depending on the availability of resources.
I am interested in a customised workshop. How can I go about arranging for one?
Please contact us with details such as the budget available and the number of participants. We will work closely with you to discuss the possible options.
