During this month, some of us have been kept busy fulfilling the orders that have streamed in during our Great Singapore Sale while others were furiously tapping away at our computers to bring you a new and improved Craft Atelier website!

Craft Atelier @ WordPress & Facebook
Ever since we moved to a dedicated web domain (www.craft-atelier.com), we have received a fair bit of feedback on the overall site design and user friendliness. After monitoring the situation for a couple of months, we begun to build a new website and together with a few brave volunteer beta testers, have been working through the kinks and overcoming the 404 errors.
We are pleased to present our new Craft Atelier website and forum, powered by WordPress and BBPress. And if that wasn’t enough, we have also gotten ourselves a Facebook Page, so that you can get the latest updates from our instructors when they are on the go!
There’s no need to change your bookmarks, simply surf on to http://www.craft-atelier.com to admire our new layout and design. =)
Don’t forget, we are always open to feedback, so do send us your suggestions and comments on the new website!
Spring Cleaning of Craft Atelier Mailing List
A new platform also means a new start for the Craft Atelier mailing list. In a bid to distinguish the humans from the non-humans (yes, spambots love reading our newsletters!), we will not be transferring user accounts or mailing list subscriptions from the old platform to the new.
In other words, if you would like to continue to receive updates through our mailing list, you will need to re-register yourself on our new website. Do remember to do that as soon as possible, because you won’t want to miss out on any of our surprises/updates!

‘Just Because’ Competition
Because we are so pleased with our new site, we wanted to share our joy by giving away some products through a card making competition.
But we couldn’t think of a theme.
So, we are having a “just because” competition! Just because we like to do so. =)
The competition rules are really simple.
- Make a card. Any card, for any occasion.
- Document the card making process, either through pictures or videos. Remember to describe the materials that you have used and the steps that you have taken to create your card.
- Sign up for an account on our craft forum.
- Post pictures of your card as well as the pictures/videos documenting your card making process.
* Please note that our forum limits uploaded images to 1000px by 1000px. For videos, please upload them on video sharing pages such as Youtube and post the link on the forum.
If you wish, repeat steps 1 -4 to submit another entry. Closing date for submission is 31 July 2010.
In August, we will pick a grand winner from all the entries submitted. The winner will walk away with a QuicKutz Revolution Die-Cutting Machine, bundled with 12” Cutting Platform and Embossing Mat, 5 QuicKutz 2×2 Dies and 5 QuicKutz 4×4 Dies (Dies are randomly chosen). The entire bundle is worth close to $700!
(What if you are the grand winner, but already own a QuicKutz Revolution? Not to worry, we can always work out a trade-in/exchange option for you later! =P)
